A Helping Hand

When the rain hits hard in Addis, the city’s sewerage problem becomes an irritating task to deal with. The asphalt, flooded with water, causes pedestrians to struggle in crossing from one side of the road to the other. A young man carries his friend on his back around Global Hotel, so that his friend’s sneakers won’t be flooded with water. The flip flops did a great job here, otherwise the friends may have been stuck until the flooding subsided.
