Addis Abeba Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (AACCSA) is to hold again the 9th annual meeting of the Chamber, which was held one year back on December 19, 2013. The Chamber will also conduct the election of its board members, its president and vice president in its annual meeting to be held on March 3, 2007.
This was decided by a board of trustees, which was established by the Ministry of Trade (MoT) after the court revoked the existing board because of transgressing member’s right to participate in the election process.
The board of trustees that is now calling for the members to hold the election of a new board was established after a ruling by the court to establish a board of trustees to coordinate the Chambers activities.
The committee comprises of officials from the MoT, Addis Abeba Trade and Industry Bureau and Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA).15
