Amhara Region to Build a Tertiary Level Hospital

The Amhara Regional State is working in fund raising activities to build Wollo Tertiary Health Care and Teaching Hospital which will cost one billion Br in Wollo, Tita five kilometers from Diessie.

The hospital is expected to be complete after five years and enroll 1,500 new students for the first degree, 200 specialized job trainings.

The design of the hospital has done voluntarily by tripartite architects including Haile Gebriel Consultant & Architect and Engineering Plc, Mat Consultant and Universal Consultants. The buildings will be three storeys for the hospital, two storey for teaching, and three apartments each with three storey accommodating for dormitories and housings for teachers.

The project fund raising committee has began its activities by holding a bazaar in Dessie and Kombolcha and which was collected 10 million Birr.
