Ethiopia Invites German Investment

Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome (PhD) said Ethiopia seeks to involve German companies in its investment sectors. President Mulatu expressed Ethiopia’s intention during a discussion held with former President of Germany, Horst Kohler. The President said Ethiopia’s infrastructural development is expected to help bring more investors from Europe. In response, the former president said that German companies are most interested in manufacturing, building modern services and creating industries, as well as providing technical training. German investors would require from the Ethiopian government, assurances of reliable electric power, land and infrastructure.
