Fighting Fire

Fire brigades were called to Dana Trading, a cotton factory at 8:00am on March 27, 2017 to put out a fire that had engulfed a cotton factory. Four million Birr in damages was reported. The factory workers used 18000lt of reserve water from the factory tanker to control the fire until rescue workers arrived on the scene. The Addis Ababa Fire & Emergency Service sent 11 fire trucks and 80 rescue workers. The factory sits on 7500sqm and located near Jacros square. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
