First Look

As the newly built trains for the Addis Abeba Light Rail Transit (LRT) began appearing slithering on the rails, everyone was watching them in amusement. The trains began official pre-revenue trial on January 31, 2015, although they were being seen as far back as two weeks. The trial is being conducted on the completed and electric powered rail that stretches from Kality depot to Mesqel Square. Here are seen the passersby taking the first of their pictures while the train passes through the route.
