Ethiopia is a nation where, seemingly, contradictory faces live together. Modern brand cars as latest as Porsche are seen on the roads of Addis Abeba, whereas those as old as FIAT 600 share the same road. It is also common to see animals used for transportation. One can still find donkeys lined up at Merkato side by side with a very modern ISUZU trucks for the same purpose. As one donkey gets loaded and leaves the row, the next in row moves in for its turn without breaking the line.
