Government Housing Agency Collects 150M Br

 

The Agency for Government Houses has collected close to 150 million Br over the past six months, 12pc lower than the same period last year. The money came from the rents paid on houses administered by the Agency, from unsettled rental costs and other incomes.The report also indicates that the Agency administers close to 16, 919 houses serving both as residential and rented to institutions.
From this, the largest contribution came from income from rented houses where the Agency collected 133.2 million Br. The total income collected in the first half of the fiscal year was only 86pc of the Agency’s plan to generate 164.4 million Br. The standing committee for Urban Development & Construction heard the Agency’s report.
The Agency was re-established as the Agency for Government Houses in 2014, an autonomous body under the civil service by proclamation 555/2007. It is accountable to Ministry of Urban Development & Housing .
