Hectic Diplomatic Days Boost Ethiopia’s Relations




The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a press briefing regarding the diplomatic visits to the country over the last one and a half months. Over the past two months, Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has made state visits to Uganda, Zambia and Tanzania while leaders from South Sudan, Djibouti, Liberia, Sudan, and Qatar have made trips to Ethiopia.

The nation has benefited from these recent missions in terms of international relations, safety and security, and development related issues, according to Meles Alem, the spokesperson for the Ministry. It was also indicated that Ethiopia and the countries have exchanged experiences and created cordial relationships.

The country has made many agreements with various countries on a variety of issues related with health, trade, strategic partnership, tourism, infrastructures development, and other matters.
