Ethiopia is the first in Africa and the 10th in the world for its live stock resources. However, the dairy production in the country is not exploited properly in an organized manner. With the funding by the USAID a founding workshop was held on July 10, 2014 at the Hilton Hotel in Addis Abeba. In attendance of the workshop was Dennis Weller (left), mission director of the USAID Ethiopia Mac Steen (middle), chief of party for USAID’s Agricultural Growth Programe-Livestock Market Development Project (AGP-LMD) accompanied by the State Minister of Industry, Mebrathu Meles (PhD), left.
