National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has allocated media time for political candidates

National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has allocated media time for political candidates that are going to run for the upcoming National election in the presence of political parties’ representatives at Hilton Addis Hotel on February 21, 2015. But there are complaints being put forward by opposition political parties who say the time was not fairly distributed. Moreover, they are not clear about the parameters used by the board in order to allocate the time. For its part, the NEBE rejected the complaints raised by Semayawi and Ethiopian Democratic Unity Party (EDUP). This is not the time to argue on the matter, it has already been decided, said Merga Bekana (Prof.), chairman of the board.
