ZTE donate 300,000Br Worth of Books to Three Lucky Schools

ZTE, a Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment and systems company, has donated 4,677 books worth 300,000 Br to three schools in Oromia Regional State.

The three beneficiary schools are Segno Gebeya Primary School, in Mulo District – 45km north-west of Addis Abeba; Asgori Primary School in Eilu District, south-west Shoa zone – approximately 50km away from Addis Abeba, and Eifebri Primary School in Aegerie district of the West Shoa zone – about 55km away from Addis Abeba. ZTE delivered 1,559 books  to each school.

The organisation has participated in different kinds of social activities over the past 12 years in the country. These include donating 300,000Br to the Abebech Gobena orphanage and providing holiday meals to the Mekodoniya Humanitarian Association.

ZTE has been operating in Ethiopia for the past 13 years, working with ethio-telecom in network upgrading and installation.
