Bankable

Land is one of the most expensive and controversial input variables in the country’s economic matrix. Yet urban land management has been among the strongest points of the government. With information gap and irreconcilable data between records in the offices of the city’s land administration and the reality on the ground, the city administration has tried to come up with different land administration schemes to solve the problem. In this quest for better land management the land administration office of Woreda two in the Kirkos district is seen here planting a notice board on 99 square metres of free-off-use land in its jurisdiction near Meskel Flower Hotel off Gabon Street, stating that it is now in the land bank of the administration.
