Flood congestion




On Friday, October 4, 2013, the asphalt road at Meskel Square on Jomo Kenyatta Street was flooded with rainwater after a heavy rain. Cars were left in inches of water and trekking rather slowly. The summer rains have continued into October. The city lacks drainage systems. Thus running water has corrosive effect on the asphalt roads.
