Probe on Grand Corruption Zooms in Over 200 Individuals Assets




The Federal High Court has frozen the properties of 210 individuals claimed to have an affiliation with the recently jailed government officials suspected of corruption.

Out of the people whose properties were seized, there are family members of the accused, the government officials and companies.

The Court has also frozen the properties of 15 companies including Aser Construction Plc, Gemshu Beyene Construction Plc, Tina Construction Plc and DMC Construction.

“This is part of the recent aggressive move against corruption,” said Negeri Lencho (PhD), minister of Government Communication Affairs Office.
