INSA Gets New Deputy Director

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) appointed Yidneqachew Worku as deputy director of the Information Network Security Agency (INSA) on August 27, 2018.

The new deputy director replaces the former deputy director Abraham Belay (PhD), who recently moved to Ethiopian Electric Power. Abraham replaced Azeb Asnake, the founding CEO of Ethiopian Electric.

Last April Temesgen Tiruneh became INSA’s CEO following the departure of Tekleberhan Woldearegay (Maj. Gen).

INSA was established to provide technical and intelligence assistance to government agencies with the aim of ensuring the transformation of the nation’s high-tech and security industry.
