Lideta to Get HQs for 400m Br

The Lideta District is to get headquarters building for close to 410 million Br.

Eleven local grade one construction companies showed interest in the bid, which preliminary evaluation stage was made on June 13, 2018, according to Atinafu Abebe, acting director at Addis Abeba Public Procurement & Property Disposal Agency.

The Addis Abeba Construction Bureau, which designed the building, will supervise the construction which is expected to be finalised in 730 days. Currently half of the districts in the capital have already constructed their office buildings, according to Atnafu.

The previous track record of project performance and financial status of the contractors were the main criteria set for the bidders to pass the preliminary technical evaluation.
