Zebym Soft Drinks, a new entrant in the beverage market, has begun the production of soft drinks, carbonated and bottled water. With machines imported from Germany, the Company has a production capacity of 24,000 bottles of water and 700,000 hectolitres of soft drinks annually.
Its factory is located in the Oromia Regional State, at the outskirts of Addis Abeba and lies on 10,000sqm, with an expansion zone of similar area. The Company has a plan to invest over 200 million Br on its second phase expansion project.
With all its raw materials locally sourced, it currently has started distribution in various regions of the country, excluding the Addis Abeba.
The Company was founded by Zelalem Muluken (MD), who has had much experience in the beverage industry.
