Addis Abeba City Police, near the CMC residential complex, across from Tsehay Real Estate’s Poli Lotus complex, pack the bed of a pickup truck. This is despite the city’s traffic regulations enacted to protect against accidents. Such sites, especially in areas where there are few traffic police, are common, with civilians similarly loaded on to the back of pickup trucks.
