“Ethiopia is now at a turning point.”




Isaias Afwerki, president of Eritrea, said during a speech at his nation’s Martyrs Day celebrations. It comes after Eritrean authorities announced a delegate would be sent to Ethiopia for peace talks and the Executive Committee of the EPRDF agreed to implement the Algiers Agreement unconditionally.
