Gov’t Opens Logistics Sector to International Companies




The Ethiopian Investment Board, chaired by Arkebe Oqubay (PhD), has allowed joint venture participation by international logistics service providers locally holding up to 49pc or less stakes.

The logistics sector has been closed for non-national logistic operator for the past decades. The Board has also lifted the restrictions imposed on the provisions of bonded warehouse, consolidation and deconsolidation services.
