Sugar Corp Head Replaces Dagmawit as Deputy Mayor

Endawoq Abite, director general of the Ethiopian Sugar Corporation, has been appointed as the deputy mayor of Addis Abeba, replacing Dagmawit Moges, who was moved to the Ministry of Transport, as a minister.

Endawoq was head the Corporation beginning 2015, replacing Shiferaw Jarso; he was deputy director general prior to that and after he was moved from his service as the CEO of Fincha Sugar Factory, for two years.

Dagmawit, who was communications director of the city administration, was appointed deputy mayor last July along with Takele Uma, former head of the Oromia Transport Bureau, and Solomon Kidane (PhD), former head of Addis Abeba Roads & Transport Bureau.
