US Senate Confirms Ex-ambassador to Ethiopia Top Diplomat for Africa




The United States Senate has confirmed Tibor Nagy, once ambassador to Ethiopia, as the new Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, under the State Department.

“I’m very honoured and humbled,” said Ambassador Nagy after the confirmation. “I remain an Afro-Optimist and hope to help the Continent advance in stability, prosperity, and good governance.”
