Addis Prefab Houses Manufacturing Industries Plc put a foundation stone for the construction of manufacturing plant that costs 260 million Br on a plot of 50,000sqm land that it gets from in Sendafa Town, 34Km north of the capital, at a cost of  nine million Birr, last week. When the factory became fully operational after ten years, it will have a capacity to manufacture 14,000 housing units. However by next year, the factory will able to produce 1,400 housing units. The Company has procured the light gauge steel construction technology called Light Steel Framing (LSF) with 64 million Br from Genesis Worldwide, an American based company last week. The factory would be completely installed within the next 60 days, according to Fikremariyam Alemu (right) general manager of the company. Board Chairman of the Company, Gazahegn Yayensha, (left), Zagaye Kassa (center), mayor ofSendafaTown, and Mekonnen Sufa (right), communication head at the Oromia Investment Bureau also attended the ceremony.
